Club Rhijnhuizen is the Netherlands’ first area cooperative instigated and organised by Hans Karssenberg and Emilie Vlieger. In this cooperative, residents, real estate owners, developers, initiatives and the municipality work together to transform the area of Rijnhuizen from a desolate eighties office zone into a mixed use living area with high quality public space. Club Rhijnhuizen is a place management organisation that accelerates this transformation in a sustainable and community driven way.
